Is this the wheelchair/car of the future?
The PUMA (Personal Urban Mobility and Accessibility) is a collaboration between General Motors and Segway which was announced April 2009.
With a little adaptation this could be COOL Wheelchair Technology. I wonder if something like this might one day replace the IBOT. What do you think?

I just wanted to come and say thank you for leaving a comment on my blog. I stayed here for a while...poking around. Since I do not function from a wheelchair, these advancements have been under my radar. They are indeed "cool".
ReplyDeleteIn my post "When Faith Blinds Us" I challenged us all to see without pity those who live out their days differently than we do. In a way I think "pity" is a form of disablism. Am I on track with that thought?
